Oz Clarke stayed at the Estate

On the eve of the most important Bulgarian wine event – DiVino.Taste, we had the honor of welcoming to the Estate one of the legends of the global wine industry – Oz Clarke, an Englishman known for his phenomenal palate and enthusiasm for life. He is the author of many award-winning books on wine. Before wine took over his life in 1984, Oz was a full-time actor and singer, touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was awarded an OBE in 2020.

The wine expert was fascinated not only by the distinct character of the Zornitza wines, but also by the Estate’s general concept – Farm to table, as well as by the authentic natural taste of the superb food at the aEstivum restaurant. ‘What you do here is increasingly rare in Europe. You preserve the true flavors and I would like to come back to you’, Clarke said to the team of the Estate.
This weekend Oz Clarke will host one of the most eagerly awaited Master classes from the program of DiVino.Taste. There he will tell his personal story – in life, as an actor, and, of course, with wine.
